Terms and Conditions
By agreeing to the Webshop Terms and Conditions, an agreement is formed between us and you as the customer. However, before agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, we kindly ask that you read them carefully and familiarize yourself with our procedures. This can help prevent unpleasant situations. Article 1.
Webshop
1.1
. The webshop is registered with the Chamber of Commerce and pays its statutory contributions to the Tax Authorities. You can find our Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number and VAT number on our website, along with our contact details.
1.2.
Our webshop is secured with an SSL certificate. This means we meet all legal requirements regarding the protection of your personal and payment information. We strive for continuous improvement in data security. In the event of hacking or abuse, we will file a police report.
1.3.
We never share your personal data with third parties. Should we need to do so, we will always ask for your explicit prior consent.
1.4
. We are obligated to report any suspected abuse or fraud to the police.
1.5.
We aim to always provide you with excellent service. If you have doubts about a purchase, we are happy to assist you.
Article 2.
Cooling-off Period
2.1
. You have a 14-day cooling-off period after purchasing a product. If you are dissatisfied with the product within this period, you may return it to us without having to pay for the product itself. You only pay the return shipping costs. If payment has already been made, you will receive a credit invoice and a refund to your account.
2.2.
Returned products must be in their original packaging.
2.3.
Some products cannot be returned within 14 days. These include any travel bookings made with us.
2.4.
Once a trip is booked, full payment must be made at least three weeks before the departure date.
2.5
. If you have booked a room through Live The Bedouinlife, cancellations can be made up to three weeks before the scheduled date. After that, cancellation will require full payment of the booking.
Article 3
. The Agreement
3.1
. The agreement between the webshop and the customer is final when the customer has agreed to the terms and conditions and authorized payment via bank or PayPal, or upon receipt of an invoice. After the 14-day cooling-off period and upon payment, ownership of the product is transferred to the customer.
3.2.
The agreement is made electronically by filling in the required fields and accepting the terms and conditions.
3.3.
As a customer, you are obliged to fulfill your payment obligations. If payment is not made on time, we will send a reminder. After 14 days, additional charges may apply. Continued non-payment after multiple reminders may result in the debt being handed over to a collection agency.
3.4
. After completing your purchase, you will receive a written confirmation via email outlining the product, the price, and where to direct any complaints or questions.
3.5.
We are obligated to deliver the product within 30 days. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, this is not possible, we will inform you in writing. If the product cannot be delivered within the 30-day period, you will be refunded. This refund will never exceed 50% of the purchase price. If you have agreed in advance to accept a replacement product, we will offer you an alternative that meets your preferences. You may also indicate in advance that you do not wish a substitute.
3.6.
Delivery times for international shipments may be longer than for domestic orders. International shipping costs will be visible at checkout.
3.7.
If you participate in one of our desert trips, you are required to have travel insurance for the duration of the trip.
Article 4.
The Price
4.1.
All prices listed on our webshop include VAT. Shipping costs are shown once you add a product to your cart.
4.2.
The price listed for the product at the time of purchase will not change. You pay half of the listed price when you agree electronically. The purchase confirmation will restate the price.
The remaining half must be paid in cash at the end of the desert trip at the reception of Live The Bedouinlife.
4.3.
If you purchase a product outside of a promotional period, you are not entitled to a discount retroactively.
Article 5
. Complaints and Warranty
5.1
. Complaints about delivery must first be reported to us by phone. We are happy to assist you and will contact the delivery service regarding the issue.
5.2
. Complaints about the product itself must be submitted in writing and cannot be handled personally. Please describe your complaint as clearly as possible. We will contact the manufacturer or wholesaler on your behalf and act as an intermediary. If possible, we will resolve the issue ourselves.
5.3.
Complaints are usually resolved within 14 days and are handled in writing.
5.4.
By agreeing to the Webshop Terms and Conditions, you are asked to check the acceptance box. Without this confirmation, no agreement can be established. We sincerely hope you enjoy your purchase.
Article 6.
Cancellation
6.1
. Cancellation fees:
In case of cancellation, the traveler owes the following amounts:
a. Up to 2 months before departure: 50% of the travel sum;
b. From 1 month to 7 days before departure: 75% of the travel sum;
c. Within 6 days before the day of departure: 100% of the travel sum.
