DISCOVER THE SINAI DESERT WITH HER TRIBE
Venture into the breathtaking vastness of the Sinai Desert, for women who want to slow down, sink in, and be together.
During this unique desert trip you live in the rhythm of nature, surrounded by the vast landscape and the deep peace that this place offers. Here the noise of everyday life fades, making it easier for you to connect with yourself and your environment.
Simplicity and space are central. We travel and eat together, there is always room for you to be alone, read, walk or simply reflect. This is your time to slow down, return to the simplicity of life, and to connect with your deeper core.
Whether you are already connected to your inner voice or perhaps struggling to manifest your vision, or are simply looking for peace and clarity, this journey offers you the time, space and guidance to delve deeper into yourself. During this tour you will not only travel through the desert, but also through the layers of yourself.
The retreat is being held for the second time, following a successful previous edition.

DAY PROGRAM
Day 1: Arrival in the desert
After arriving in Sinai you will be welcomed by the Bedouins and our guides. We start quietly with an introduction and an intention session. The camp is ready upon your arrival, so you can quietly prepare your sleeping place and sit down for dinner by the campfire under the stars.
Day 2-4: Deeper into the desert
. Every morning we start with a breathing session and cleaning up the sleeping place. Breakfast will be ready with coffee, tea and freshly baked bread. While the camels are being saddled, you can enjoy a fresh breakfast of coffee & tea. We travel through the desert in silence as much as possible and cover about 12 to 17 kilometers every day. After a lunch break there is room for rest, reflection and personal guidance. In the evening we prepare our sleeping place and end the day with stories, music and tea around the campfire.
Day 5: Mount Catherine
, locally known as Gabal Katrîne, is the highest mountain in Egypt, standing at 2,629 meters. This impressive mountain is located near the town of Saint Catherine, in the southern part of Sinai.
A Mountain with a Story
According to Christian tradition, the body of Saint Catherine of Alexandria was carried to this mountain by angels after her martyrdom. A chapel was built at the summit in 1905 in her memory. There is also a small meteorological station, which is still in use today.
A Unique Experience
Mount Catherine not only offers breathtaking views and deep spiritual heritage, but also a unique opportunity to walk in the footsteps of ancient civilisations. Whether you come for the nature, the history, or the serenity of the mountains, this place will leave no one untouched.
Day 6: Return to the coast
After our last breakfast in the desert we continue towards the coast. We reach Nuweiba beach and enjoy a well-deserved moment of rest on the Gulf of Aqaba. Here you can relax, enjoy the stunning sea views, snorkel, and reflect on your desert adventures.
If you wish to extend your stay at the beach after the desert journey, you will receive a discount on your stay at the Live the Bedouin Life camp.
A couple of weeks before the journey begins, we’ll meet on Zoom to get to know each other. It’s a chance to see familiar faces before we set off, ask any questions you may have, and share a little about yourself

Our travel policy
Tourism is the largest industry in the world, with enormous potential for economic growth and employment. Unfortunately, tourism also causes negative effects on nature and local cultures. We try to look for sustainable alternatives to limit the negative effects of tourism and enhance the positive effects. Livethebedouinlife attaches great importance to dealing responsibly with culture, nature and the environment. We adhere to cultural codes as much as possible and expect the same from our travelers. It is -if applicable- easy to forget that we sometimes travel through very poor areas.
