MEN’S DESERT JOURNEY<\/h4>\n

In February a journey through the desert is made, accompanied by Zowie.<\/p>\n

For five years I have been looking for a place in untouched nature where my dream of walking alone from place to place with a group of men in freedom can become reality. This year I received a call from Debra: \u201cI’m looking for a man who can lead a men’s group, 3 women from my women’s group pointed to you. Is this something for you?” Let’s go!. Never thought I would end up in the Sinai desert\u2026<\/p>\n

Guided by the local tribe, the Bedouins. Walking and carried through untouched nature in silence without luggage. To arrive somewhere where the fire burns. Being cared for and taking care of each other. Sharing the moment and stories together in truth with attention and humor. Make music. Sleep with a full moon under the blue starry sky. Wake up before the sun is up, climb to the highest point to watch the sunrise over the desert landscape. Dwell on a new day, set an intention. Leaving behind what is no longer necessary and then step by step to a new place.<\/p>\n

This walk is a physical and a spiritual journey. Which offers us the opportunity to connect with ourselves, the reflections of the desert and the wisdom of the Bedouin tribe.
\nBefore we start this journey in the desert, we meet in a Zoom conversation and then in a Sweatlodge on Texel. Here we set our intentions and build a relationship of trust together.<\/p>\n

The road to peace within myself took me from a successful creative entrepreneur to medicine man. I followed this road to all corners of the world to connect with indigenous wisdom, traditions and rituals and to make it my own in the world from here & now.<\/p>\n

Plant medicine can be used as a tool but are never the target.<\/p>\n

Members of the Muzeina tribe are our guides during the journey. Every trip a team is put together from the different members of the Muzeina tribe. This team takes care of us, the food, the animals and everything we need. By bringing along different members of the Muzeina tribe each time, this way of traveling ensures that different families can reap the benefits of these desert trips.<\/p>\n

After breakfast on the sixth night, we depart by jeep back to the coast of Nuweiba.
\nThere we spend the night in the Livethebedouinlife Camp.
\nThe beach is equipped with wifi and sanitary facilities and has a Bedouin atmosphere.
\nIn this way we slowly prepare for the return journey.<\/p>\n

Het weer<\/h4>\n

Het klimaat van Februari is warm met maximale temperaturen rond de n 28 graden. De nachten zijn cooler de temperatuur kan dan rond de 10 a 15 graden teruglopen. Met ongeveer 10 uur per dag aan zon en een bijzonder kleine kans op neerslag is de weersverwachting voor Februari warm, stabiel en gunstig. Rond deze tijd is het overdag erg behaaglijk in Egypte.<\/p>\n

Tijdsverschil<\/h4>\n

Het tijdsverschil met Egypte en Sinai is 1 uur later (tijdens de wintertijd is er tijdsverschil).<\/p>\n

Egypte en Sinai stellen geen vaccinaties verplicht.<\/p>\n

\nBij beide luchtvaartmaatschappijen vlieg je via Istanbul, zij zijn het meest stabiel in prijs en vertrek.<\/p>\n

Een sweater , vest voor de avonden, en wat luchtiger kleding voor overdag. Mocht je het snel koud vinden neem dan een paar warme sokken mee. Sommige delen van de reis zal je je kameel per voet over de bergen moeten begeleiden, daarom zijn schoenen\/stevige sandalen\/slippers waar je fijn op loopt onmisbaar voor deze reis.<\/p>\n

Wij hebben voor iedereen een slaapzak toch voor extra comfore ,warmte en hygiene neem je elf ook nog een slaapzak mee.<\/p>\n

Vergeet niet iets voor op het hoofd, een doek, hoed of pet ! Het is belangrijk om jezelf goed te beschermen tijdens het rijden door de woestijn op je kameel en voor de zon in het algemeen. Vergeet dus ook je zonnebrand niet! Een tandenborstel een washandje en een vettige creme of olie is ook prettig bij je te hebben in de woestijn.<\/p>\n

Omdat we per kameel reizen en deze ook je bagage zal dragen is het het beste om voor een flexibele rugzak, sporttas of zachte koffer te kiezen.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_tabs][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
